Author Biography

  • Almendra Espinoza-Rivera

    I am currently a pre-doctoral researcher - FPI at the University of Barcelona.
    I have a Master's degree in Ibero-American Studies (Cultural, Linguistic and Literary Studies), Universität Heidelberg, Germany. In addition, I have a Master's degree in Interdisciplinary Social Intervention, Universidad Alberto Hurtado, Chile. I graduated in Education, with a double major in History and Geography, Universidad de Playa Ancha de Ciencias de la Educación, Chile /Universidad Nacional del Litoral, Argentina.

    My main areas of work are knowledge transfer and pedagogical and cultural intervention.
    My fields of specialisation are social sciences, humanities, gender studies, interculturalism, artivism and political participation.

    The methodologies I use in my work are:
    teaching, workshops and lectures in face-to-face and e-learning mode; facilitation of training seminars for teachers; organisation and participation in cultural and academic projects such as conferences, symposiums, exhibitions, radio, festivals, workshops, fairs, etc; publication and edition of journals and fanzines.

    Previous experiences have taken place in Universities, Schools, Social and Cultural Organizations, NGOs, Community Centers, both in the public and private sector.
